Of Flightless Doves is a publication about poetry. I share poems I am the author of as well as the occasional essay for paying subscribers. Beginning March 2025, I share monthly podcast discussions with other poets and musicians about poetry and music—for free subscribers.
As a poet and a composer, I am dedicated to a reunion of poetry and music.
I began Of Flightless Doves in 2022 because I felt some urgency to not withhold all my poems. Not wanting to make concessions in my poetry in order to gain readership, yet still wanting to share, I founded

I am a nomadic musician, poet and composer. Recently I adapted poems by Robinson Jeffers to music by composing a song cycle entitled "Birth-Dues," during a 2023 Tor House Foundation Fellowship.
